Join us for the grand finale of our Summer Walks series in the beautiful surroundings of the Saxon Mill.
Club member Phil Holroyd will be sharing his expertise on creating soft, silky water effects from the moving water at the weir.
Tips on both freeze-frame action shots and the classic “fluffy water” long-exposure look.
Prefer a more relaxed wander? Enjoy a gentle country walk towards Old Milverton or follow the riverside path towards Guys Cliffe.
We’ll start and finish the evening with a drink and a chat at The Saxon Mill.

Evening Focus

• Running water photography. Freeze frame or fluffy water effect.
• A friendly meet with time to chat, explore and experiment

Photographic Ideas & Equipment
A tripod is strongly recommended for the water photography.
Ideal lenses:
• Wide-angle lens for landscape and river scenes
• Standard zoom lens for general photography and details
