Welcome

A very warm welcome to Jaguar Photographic Society. One of the oldest and most active clubs in Coventry, we have been in existence for over 40 years. We have long since become independent from Jaguar Land Rover, but still welcome photography enthusiasts at all levels from our spiritual home, as well as from Coventry, Warwickshire and the surrounding areas.

Demonstrations, practical outings, competitions, studio shoots and presentations are organised to suit all interests and abilities. Additionally there is a monthly meeting where several local photographic clubs combine, to form the Mercia group, where a big name lecturer is booked to give a talk or presentation on a range of photographic subjects.

Feel free to drop in on one of our club nights, to see what we get up to, and meet with our members. But do check the programme first to make sure where we are on that particular evening.

If you would like to receive more information about the club, you could subscribe to our Weekly Newsletter. It contains information about club activities, and other related events in the area. The link below will take you to our subscription page.

Storm Brewing by Stuart Morrison - Pictorial & Overall Winner JPS Annual Print Competition 2019

What’s On

We try to deliver a varied programme so we enjoy our photography whilst developing our own personal styles and skills. From studio and location shoots, presentations and competitions, to visits and social events.

So what's coming up?

23rd October 2019
  • Live demonstration by "The Flash Centre"8:00 pm

    JPS Clubhouse

Birmingham Based Lighting and Photographic Specialists, The Flash Centre, will be demonstrating the latest kit specially for us in a 2 hour session. A fantastic opportunity to learn and understand the subtleties of a variety of studio and portable equipment.

At The Flash Centre we believe in providing photographers with the tools to take their careers to the next level, but we don’t just mean the physical tools. Sure a nice camera and some studio strobes might help kick start things, but it’s the knowledge with which to master them that can make a huge difference to your images. Whether over the phone, in store, in one of our studios, at your studio, or in a workshop, we believe in empowering you with the knowledge to make the right purchase first time.” -Chris Whittle MD
