Breaking into Motorsport Photography without Media Accreditation

This talk aims to share some insights into how to develop the skills necessary to be successful in taking motorsport photographs and how media accreditation is not necessary to build a good portfolio of work.
Joy is an award-winning amateur photographer with over 20 years’ experience of taking pictures at a range of motorsport events. Through her motorsport photography, Joy specialises in taking black and white images, with a fine art twist which is particularly suited to historic motorsport events as well candid pictures taken in and around the paddock areas. In a changing world of digital media, the routes into becoming accredited has changed. Joy has used the experience of entering motorsport photography competitions to develop her skills and to open the doors to accreditation.
