DESCRIPTION:Tonight we have a mix of hands on practical and demonstrations all to do with sizing our images for the various competitions and then mounting any print that we have created.\n \nIf you have a laptop with your editing suite on then bring it with you so you can follow along with the sizing of images and ask for any specific help. \nThere will be a demo of mount cutting and then how to mount a print. If you have a mount card that you would like some help with cutting\, bring that as well.

DESCRIPTION:The Arty Camera: Creative & Artistic Photography\n \nThis presentation illustrates how I make creative and impressionistic images almost entirely in camera with almost no post processing. Techniques include: ICM (Intentional Camera Movement)\, Multiple Exposure\, Creative White Balance and Creative Close-up. It is a passion which has evolved from my early creative instincts as a student and blossomed as I began to push the boundaries of my own creativity and the features of my camera. In this presentation I go into some detail about my evolution from Landscape Photography\, my techniques and approach\, and what has and continues to inspire and drive me in my efforts in this genre. My aim is to inspire and to inform – sharing my passion and techniques which have been practised and honed over time. All I ask is an open mind.  \n \n  \n

SUMMARY:Merit Competition Round Two
DESCRIPTION:The second round of our Annual Merit Competition. Members will be asked to submit up to 2 pdi (Projected digital images) and 2 prints on any subject. The only provisos being they must have been taken within the last two years\, and not having been in one of our competitions before. \nAdditionally one pdi can be submitted into the “Set Subject” category\, the theme being decided at merit 1 on the 8th October\, and these images must have been taken since then. \nThe images will be shown live tonight and all members present will be able to vote for the winners using our voting “app”. \nYou can find more information via the links below. The Photoentry System will be open from the start of the season for all your entries. \nRules  Voting
