SUMMARY:Merit Competition Round Three
DESCRIPTION:The third and final round of our Annual Merit Competition. Members can to submit up to 2 pdi (projected digital image) and 2 prints on any subject. The only provisos being they must have been taken within the last two years\, and not having been in one of our competitions before. \nAdditionally one pdi can be submitted into the “Set Subject” category\, the theme being decided at our meeting on the 20th November\, these images must have been taken since then. \nThe images will be shown live tonight and all members present will be able to vote for the winners using our voting “app”. \nYou can find more information via the links below. The Photoentry System will be open from the start of the season for all your entries. \nRules Voting Themes

SUMMARY:Studio Shoot - COLOURS & FLASH
DESCRIPTION:Join us tonight\, and bring your cameras for a session with the theme\, “COLOURS”. We will have all our studio equipment available\, together with a variety of potential subjects. If you wish to bring your own colourful subjects then please do so. Any lenses will be suitable and tripods will be useful. \nWe will also have the flash guns and triggers at one end of the room to help people operate the flash with their cameras\, this is to help for future studio nights and hopefully resolve some of the issues we have been having with the newer cameras. It will also be an opportunity to try different things using flash\, see what changing the flash power does\, what effect does moving the flash head have\, what happens when you point the flash at the ceiling\, etc!!!
