SUMMARY:Travelling Portfolio PDI & Image Share from our studio nights
DESCRIPTION:The start of the night will be a look at the PDI from The Travelling Portfolio having already looked at the Print Section back in September. \nThis will be followed after a break with our own PDI from some of our events earlier in the season which looked at LIGHT\, GEOFF and FRUIT Images from “Light Painting with Brent” that was on the 6th November and images from “Playing With Light” that was on the 4th December. Our lovely model “Geoff” from the 23rd October and “Fun With Fruit” from the 2nd October. \n \n Join us tonight and let’s see some award winning images from the MCPF and what we made of our opportunities in the club house.  \n There will be an email providing information on where to send your images after the Christmas break.

SUMMARY:A Look At Scoring and Dare We Be Different
DESCRIPTION:Tonight is in two parts. First we have a look at image scoring in our Merit competitions\, what mark we give\, why we give it and what we are looking for. \nWe will be holding a dummy competition using other images and then having a discussion on what scores we gave and why\, this is invaluable when selecting our own images for competition. \n \n \n________________________________________ \nAfter a break\, “Dare To Be Different” \nThis is a bit of a contentious issue\, do we take pictures that we like or are we trying to please others? Judges maybe? So tonight we will look at some of our efforts to be different and have a chat about what and why we take photographs.
