Here’s my first shot:

I really liked this image, but it didn’t do well in Merit 2 DPI. What is wrong with it?
How about this one then, I wanted something different
Spotted a nice tulip tin garden today, with some nice side lighting too. In order to get some sharpness throughout, took a number of shots, handheld, each with different focus points. Popped them in Photoshop, auto-align layers, auto-blend layers, and bingo a reasonably sharp picture. Probably should have tried harder, but time was short. Also, watch out for reds – normal histogram showed exposure Ok as did blinkies, but checking red histogram showed over-exposure – which usually results in loss of detail in those areas. So under exposed by a full stop to prevent that, and the pulled it back in PS.

Let’s see if it works?
This time I hope the main image will be full size and clickable
